Does Belgrade Have McDonald’s?
Yes, Belgrade has McDonald’s.
That’s the short answer.
For some reason, whenever I tell people I lived in Belgrade for a while, they always ask if Serbia has McDonald’s, as if the country is some barren wasteland, completely cut off from the western world and its alluring promise of cheap hamburgers and clown-faced mascots.
I don’t know why that is, but it is. Despite the fact that Serbia is a normal, functioning country, people seem to love asking whether or not you can find McDonald’s there.
So, to answer your question, yes, Belgrade has McDonald’s. All of Serbia has McDonald’s.
In Belgrade, if you really really want a burger and chips from McDonald’s, you have plenty of choice. From the superficial Google Maps search I just did about three seconds ago, there are about 18 McDonald’s in and around the center of Belgrade.
I haven’t personally had any (I spent too much time and money eating local food when I was in Belgrade), so I don’t know what the menus are like. They probably do local specialities, but I wouldn’t know.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful, but that just about concludes probably the worst and most superficial blog post I’ve ever written in my life.
So – there you go. Yes, Belgrade does have McDonald’s. Just like pretty much every city in the world.

And if you want to know anything else about McDonald’s, go on the official McDonald’s website or something, I don’t know. Here it is.
