3 Simple Techniques to Make Your Writing Better Today:
1) Be specific with your adjectives. Don’t say something is ‘nice’ or ‘good’ or ‘excellent,’ cos those words basically mean nothing. Instead, choose adjectives that actually describe what you’re describing.
2) Be more concise. I struggle with this one, cos I’m a rambly bastard. But if you can shorten your sentence (without losing meaning or impact), you should usually shorten your sentence. Also, use more full stops.
3) Use the word “you.” Remember you’re writing for your audience, not for yourself – and using the word “you” is addressing them directly. When you’re addressed directly, you pay more attention.
